Right Break Light isn't fully working...

Getting ready to leave on a trip in a week. Connected to the TV tonight and the right break light won't light when the break is applied. It lights if the lights are on, flashers, blinker just not if you step on the break. The left break light is completely fine. Any thoughts?

Take Qtip and some alcohol, and wipe inside the plug holes and around all the pins. Then blow on it to evaporate the alcohol. does the light on the TV work?

I would start on the 7 pin connector and receiver
