Realizing that it is possible to over-think everything, I'll go ahead and ask my question.

If, while de-winterized,  you anticipate unexpected cold weather (cold snap, mountains, etc.) can you or should you run heater while towing?

The Pod should shake around enough to keep the water from freezing without the furnace, if that's your concern.

The heater will heat the inside of the Pod, not the underbelly, maybe some radiant but not while towing. Pods are great but have limitations. Lot of posts on 4 season capability or lack there of. I'm not taking my Pod into obvious bad conditions, expecting it to survive a blizzard, or long term freezing temps. Or even bad road conditions, over confidence is a killer.
