I tackled the first couple of mods today. The first was to replace the non-functional USB charger that came from the factory with a 12vdc port. This gives me the ability to insert a dual usb charger, run my CPAP or anything else.

The second mod was to install a voltage meter. I bought one of the combo ammeters but didn't want to take the time to install the wiring from.the battery in to the trailer. I had a simple meter laying around so decided to install it. Took a while to figure out which wires I want to use but I ended up working it so that it's only on when I turn the awning light on. This way,it won't draw power, albeit small and it won't light up inside at night.

I was concerned about cutting the wall but I think it turned out alright.

I like that they moved the bathroom light switch from the other side. That is one of my peeves. I may move it some day, but don't want to leave a hole in the wall at its current location.

One suggestion: Add a momentary pushbutton for the voltmeter so that it's not operating constantly and slowly draining your battery. I have that issue myself and just need to do it.

It is only on when I turn the awning light on. Just tapped in to that switch.
