Hi All-
I'm new to this forum, but I just wanted to share my new addition-   Last week I traded in my WolfPup for the new RP 180! The WolfPup had a downsized queen bed to the right of the entry door, then 2 bunks toward the rear. I have always had my eye on the RP180, but settled for a cheaper, more cramped model with the Pup. More storage, excess beds, etc., but always full of clutter. I am traveling a lot and became increasingly frustrated with my first choice. Very heavy and unusual center of gravity.
My RP180 is my dream. I am single and travel with my chocolate Lab, so there are a bunch of things to like about this. The big bathroom with ample storage, the slide-out kitchen, the true queen size bed and the ease of pulling/handling. It also includes a much larger refrigerator/freezer and a convection oven. Great color scheme as well! Great choice!Thumbs Up

Glad to hear of your decision and hope you have many years of dependable service with your 180 as you experience the joys of camping throughout this great land.  We have certainly been blessed with the dependability of our 177 for over 6 years now.  Welcome aboard!

Congrays on your 180.We have one as well and love it. We also considered a Wolf Pup as our second choice. Guess we really did make the right choice after reading your comments.

I'm so relieved to hear everyone loves their new RP-180.  I will be picking up mine on Saturday.  I'm a real fan of the R-Pod!  I am the only owner of a 2011 RP-177. I have loved my R-Pod 177 which I affectionately called the Hodge-Podge, but I admit to coveting the dry bath in the 180.  I will be putting the Hodge Podge up for sale as soon as I get the new Pod home.  I'm hoping I made a good decision.  :)

We are very happy with our 180. We especially like the dry bath and larger bed.

Congratulations, we were looking at R pods online and seemed to favor the 179.  We went to our local dealer and Kathy really liked the 180's larger dry bathroom.  We have a small wet bath in our truck camper. We have only hauled it home so far, but it handled nicely with our Audi Q7.  Looking forward to our 1st trip.

Hi All...
I'm adding a most-informative update on my new 180-
I have had my Pod for only a few weeks and read many great thoughts and suggestions. I took approximately 2 weeks carefully packing (and re-packing..lol) until I had just the right amount of excess bagging in my new home!
I decided to make my first stop Bull Shoals White River State Park in Arkansas. The trip was very comfortable pulling and tracked well.
Now for the most-informative part.... I had a nice mix of sun, rain and moderate temperatures. I was planning a 2-week stay and was pleasantly greeted by 2 other Pod owners, both 179's. Within a couple of days, I began to notice some water leaks. The first one was with the sink gasket and immediate piping (which just required tightening fittings).
About day 3....the rain came (and so did the leaks). I had towels down to absorb a small amount of water in both the kitchen and bath. The next day I was able to see that there was a leak in the outdoor shower fittings, and a considerable amount of water had run down the walls in the slide-out. I re-leveled the entire unit to run to the outside and thus protecting the interior from any further damage...if possible.  I was able to tighten the fittings that I could get to... but by then, some interior parts of the slide-out and bath area were soaked. To make a long story "shorter", the laminated pressed wood (or OSB board) was soaked, swollen and peeling. I made arrangements to see a local dealer and then decided to pack up and head back to Iowa to the dealer I purchased the rig from. There were multiple issues with a less-than-adequate prep by the dealer. I dropped the unit off yesterday with a laundry-list of things that needed attention. My service rep was very attentive and apologetic. I told them that they had two weeks to repair or replace....
So.....to be continued....Ouch

TeeBrock, so sorry to hear of these issues. I hope everything is resolved to your satisfaction. If it were us, I would let Forest River know of these issues in your new POD. We are thankful that we have had just a few minor issues. Good luck.
