We aren't ready to buy, yet. But when I found out that I could rent an R-Pod, I started researching! I found a place a couple of hours from home that we could rent from and a place relatively close to camp at (also made those reservations). We rented through RVShare which allows private owners to rent out their RV's, Travel Trailers, etc. We are renting something bigger than we plan on buying -- a 180 (we plan on buying the 178) we will be purchasing our new vehicle in September, about a month before we actually take our trip. We don't go on our trip until October, but I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity (I have the week of Columbus Day off) to actually get the site (pull through) and the brand (R-pod) reserved for the same dates!   |
