Forest River says give it a month. They apparently don't want individual owners trying to get their own deal. I'm waiting, but not for long. If you have an awning, no rdome for you. ok here is a question. How are you supposed to get in and out of that? All I see are windows, no doorway unless you can only get in from the doorway of the TV. I looked again and again for a door on the 3 walls of the awning, don't see one.

I agree with you mjlrpod. Although I thought the R Dome was complicated the first time I put it up. With practice it became second nature as now I can put it up by myself in 15 minutes.

If you have a number, address, or anything that would allow me to contact a European supplier that would be very helpful. Forest River would not even give me the model number as they apparently don't want individuals buying their own...no doubt they wish to sell them at a nice markup. I'm actually Polish and I'm going to visit my family soon. I might bring one with me. As far as I know they have different sizes. 2.6 and 3.6 meters wide. Also you can pick how high it will be. Thule is known brand for every parts bike racks etc. I would say our awning is 3.6 m but I have not checked yet. I'll probably check on Monday.

I think it depends on the rpod. The larger flat backed may have a ten foot awning, while the 20 slope may only be eight. But, my rpod is in ohio and I'm in virginia, so don't really know. ------------- 2017.5 178 (Blue Bell) 2005 Tundra Double Cab Outer Banks Bound |

My question. What do you do in the case of high winds? I could see messing to the awning.
