Thanks to everyone out there for all the tips, ideas, suggestions and advice.
But ultimately we've found the RPod to be just too small for our enjoyment.
Yes, we only had it for a few months, but we've decided to just pull the trigger and get what we really wanted from the very the beginning but just did not want to spend ridiculous $$.
The Pod was great for learning the ropes and is a great little camper.
but in the end, after scouring seemingly every RV in the industry, just going to go all in.
Final choice?  Airstream 26U.

Wow! The starting MSRP is well over half what we paid for our house. Shocked I hope you got a good deal.

In our case the MSRP is 25% over the price we paid for our house.  Of course that was back in 1980 and we did get to pay 12% on our loan, thank you President Carter.

Well, yes - it is ridiculous $$ - more than my first house, and my second for that matter.
But about the same as a Corvette Z06 these days (if that makes any sense).
Ultimately got 15% off MSRP and what I paid for the Pod (14500).

Congrats on the new digs...
Make sure you go join " http://www.airforums.com - airforums ".. very good group of people, and way better then the WBCCI forum. We agonized over getting another AS, but decided not to go down that road again.

What a beauty! I love all the windows in the bedroom area. You're smart to get your ultimate dream now. We wasted over $15,000 in rv trade-in value as we upgraded several times over 6 years. We only had the Pod for a year and lost $6,000, so we sold it to our son rather than give the loss up to the dealer. Same thing on our Premier, we also sold it to a son at a $6,000 loss. We lost $4,000 on our Aliner trade-in and $3,000 when we traded our Little Guy. We lost another $15,000 or so in tow vehicle trade-ins to accommodate the Rpod and then the Premier. When we bought our motorhome we had to buy a Jeep to tow behind it. We look back and think about how foolish we were wasting all that money that could have been applied to what we have now. Enjoy that Airstream and smile that you didn't lose on the Rpod trade.
