Sending out thanks for terrific service fromBob Scott's RV in Grand Junction, Colorado. They warrantied my Lippert brake issue and did a great job. Thanks to Dawn and a Dave for their help!

Hi Pat,

I also live in GJ and just bought a 179 from Bob Scott. Can you elaborate about your brake issue? Mine seem soft/weak, but I have not yet put many miles on the unit. I did do the new brake break-in routine, but they still feel weak.

What brake controller are you using? Have you adjusted it Do you need to increase your boost setting? It may take some time for the brake shoes to properly seat also. It may take a trip or two before they are fully seated. After you have done a few hundred miles, they should start to feel better.
