HI all was trying to decide on buying a used Rpod. The one I ran across is a 2013 rp177. Everything is working and it appears to be in good condition with some signs of wear here and there. It has A/C, gas furnace, water heater, fridge, microwave, 2 battery's and off road tires with spare. It does not have the awning but a storage cover is included. Owner is asking for $10500. Can anyone tell me if this is a fair price? Any advice will be appreciated! Thanks, Dave from North Carolina

i put it in the N.A.D.A. and it books about 12,000 on the low end, 14,000 onthe high. i dont know if that is private sale, or dealer, but i would guess its the dealer price. so 10,000 sounds like its in the neighborhood. obviously this all means nothing, condition, what you want vs what you get, what your budget is, are all factors. If you like it, and can afford it, it sounds reasonable. ultimately its up to you. I always price a new one, then see how it compares, and if it seems better to buy new, i do. if not, i dont.

Welcome to the group! Back in 2015 we traded in our 2010 171  and got $10,000n n trade towards our 179. So for that year it doesn't sound bad.

Thanks guys.Everything I found on line suggested it was a fair price. Just wanted to run it by the owners group and see if anyone had better info. I am going to meet with the owner tomorrow and if everything works out purchase it. We had a Rockwood pop up when our kids where young that we sold when our youngest hit college age. It was a Forest River product as well and we never had any problems with it. Now that we are in the empty nest stage we have been looking for something just big enough for the 2 of us that is easy to tow and does not involve a lot of set up. I think the Rpod will fit the bill nicely.

Dave, we had  Rockwood and Jayco pop ups from 1982 - 2010 and finally purchased a 177 in January 2011.  Been a great unit and has 20,000 plus miles on it going out west 3x, Smoky Mts. once and a lot of shorter trips in Michigan and the U.P.  Whichever R-Pod you decide upon, depending on your likes/dislikes I am sure you will enjoy.  Have a wonderful year, much to look forward ahead!
