Hogone, My wife took the bottom crisper out on day one so she could move the door shelf all the way down, so wine bottles and a half gallon of milk could be put in the fridge without laying them down. We use the flap that remained as a way to keep things on the shelf above it from falling out and we still use that space for a vegetable area. Rgds John

wow, finally! couldn't figure out how the crisper top stayed on . oh ya, the grate needs to go in first then snap the top on. oh boy, hope this is not what to expect monday night. hogone
