I don't, because i want to control the interior dampness.  I leave our 178 closed, with DampRid containers under the dinette table and in the shower.

We leave the fantastic vent cracked, year 'round.

Maybe you are in a more humid area than me but I leave a side window and the ceiling vent cracked open about 1/4 " all winter long.  No problem with humidity and no problem with snow as it is stored in our now vacant horse barn.

Always had the vent cracked open on the pod, and a window open a crack. With our current camper I leave the vent wide-open all the time (it has a cover) and a window open a crack. I forgot to crack open the windows after getting back from our trip this summer and had some mold issues - even though the vent was open. Just not enough cross-ventilation.
