We just purchased a 2017 RP171.  We were asked if we wanted to purchase a 5 year extended warranty from Route 66. There are $100 or $200 deductible options available. I have 364 days to decide. My question: Have others purchased / used this or a similar extended warranty? Do you feel it is a good deal? Thanks in Advance. |

Congratulations on your new 171. We didn't go with the extended warranty from the dealer. It was way to expensive. We opted for the additional year from Forest River for $150.00. We got the Extended Warranty from Forest River for $150 and we are glad we did. So far on the extended portion of the warranty the dealer has replaced the converter and installed a new axle with 2 new tires at no additional cost. We opted out of the extended warranty on our 2011 177. No issues, no problems for us and here we are nearly 6 years old (the pod, not us!)
