How often do you check your fire extinguisher? Have you ever checked your fire extinguisher? It is on my check list; I check mine before every trip. Last trip (October 2) the fire extinguisher on my 2015 179 was fine. Leaving tomorrow for another trip. Checked the fire extinguisher this morning & it had no pressure. So I'll go to Wally World tonight. I sure would hate to find myself in a situation where I needed a fire extinguisher & it failed!!

We do check ours before every trip, it is on our checklist.  Still shows ok pressure and it was purchased in March 2011.

Our original is still passing the push test, but I replaced it a couple years ago with one about twice as big.

Like furpod, go big or go home for extinguishers.  I have multiple large extinguishers around the house, and one in 2 of our vehicles.

Don't forget a smoke alarm in each bedroom and in the hallway of each level of your house.
