I am NOT unusually chauvinistic but with China messing around in the S. China Sea and even threatening us, I'd like to avoid sending my $$ there.

The big chains like Walmart and Harbor Freight seem to concentrate on made-in-China products, is there a source for alternatives that you use?

Sadly for some things there is just not many (or no) choices.
But I always look at "Made in ..." and will always spend a little more for non-Chinese.
Don't have anything personal against the Chinese.
I'm just tired of all the junk-products dumped on our shores.
And will go out of my way to get "Made in "U.S.A".

Sad to say that it is difficult to find certain products that are not made in China, even certain foods. That being said, "Made in USA" is not necessarily a guarantee of quality. Caveat emptor!

True, no guarantee.

But maybe it means my neighbor can keep his/her job for a little longer.

Just don't close down the Chinese restaurants!

I am with you bama, at least there are still great shoes and boots made in the U.S.A. A large factory is located in Rockford, MI that make Wolverine shoes, another great maker is Red Wings, both are quality footwear.

I bet if you "Google" USA-made camping gear, you might find something. I am going to check right now! We, too, try to buy USA-made.

I just today got my shipment of mostly Camco stuff ordered from Amazon. Sadly most made in China but was surprised that several items were here. Sadly when ordering things, country of origin is either not listed or impossible to find. But I did buy the Progressive Industries EMSPT30C from good old North Carolina. Probably the single most important item to purchase for any RV so I wanted a good one.
