I have removed the flip foot tongue jack from my 179 and replaced it with an electric one. It works perfectly but it needed about 1/4" more clearance with my TV for the foot to flip into position when lowering the trailer. It can be yours for the cost of shipping.

So are you using the flip foot on your new electric jack or are you getting rid of both jack and foot?

Stephen, No I am not using the flip foot on the electric jack and am just using the static foot that comes with it. I'm giving away the manual jack with the flip foot.

What would shipping for just the flip foot (with hardware) be to North Carolina (zip 27587)? I do not want the manual jack. I already have one of those.

Stephen, It looks like it would cost about $6.80 to ship the foot and hardware to you. Let me know if you want it and I will get it right out to you.

To be clear, I will give away the foot only, not the jack itself.

Thank you for the offer. I already got one from Sue and Mike. Hopefully, someone will take you up on your generous offer.
One thing I like about the flip foot is the shape of the pad. Since the ends are turned up, it should not do what the round, adjustable pad/extension that came with our JackQuick electric jack did. That is, when I raised our R-Pod on a blacktop driveway, the flat, round foot tilted a little and started digging into the blacktop of the place where we were staying. I sure did not anticipate that! I think part of the problem was that the paving was not that old and it appeared to not have been compressed sufficiently when it was rolled out. It was not that hot, but the pavement was rather soft. The shape of the flip foot would minimize any tendency to dig in since it does ot have a sharp edge on the front or back sides
I was able to move the paving back into place and use a board under the jack foot to compress it back into place, so there was no significant damage. I did learn not to do that again. If there is any doubt, put something under the foot.
