If in the area of Roanoke Rapids,NC and you are looking for a nice place to stay, I recommend the RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads it is really nice, clean and very reasonably priced. It has a really nice pool/hot tub and very accomodating and friendly staff. Nice breathing space around that site! Ribs always seem to taste better camping (when a cooking break is calling you away  , despite that wide 179 kitchen)...
