What is #7-15 amp conv. ? When I have this on and nothing else there is a sound like a fan running. I have the plugged into my new 30 amp rv receptacle my electrician just installed.Thank you.

It's the converter/charger, charging your battery. It will quit running once the battery is fully charged.
