The axle is not specific to the R pod, it is used on other recreational and cargo type trailers.  You might check with both recreational and cargo type trailer dealers to find a replacement.  Good luck.

The axle is specific to the trailer unfortunately. Rpods are not created equally. We had to leave our trailer 1200 kms from home and wait for an axle to be fabricated in Langley BC and then transported 600 kms to 150 Mile House BC. Axles are not readily available they have to be built to order. Take care of your axles while traveling Rpoders. It can be a long sad drive home without your trailer. We traveled the 2400 return kms 3 weeks later to retrieve our trailer.

You should be able to get whatever axle you need directly from FR. Overnight? I doubt it.

The axle on our 2015 R179 was replaced last fall it took about 4 weeks for the axle to come in and about 4 hours to install.

How where the axles damaged? Accident or some failure?

Evidently it was a manufacturing error the hubs were mounted with to much toe in, so the tires wore on the outsides.

Incidentally all of the work was done under the Forest River ($150) extended warranty including two new tires.

Our axle was damaged because of hitting a stump covered in brush on the side of the road in a campground.
