On holidays (flew, so we couldn't take the pod) and the person staying at our place says our pod is beeping. I only picked it up a week ago   Is it something I should be concerned about?

It's not the smoke detector but that's what it sounds like

Thanks

The most probable is the propane/CO detector. It will beep if the main battery is low and the battery will discharge if left unplugged. It could also be the fridge, which has a number of causes for beeping. Your best bet is to have the local person disconnect one of the battery terminals if they can. You can deal with the problem when you get home.

Even better have them plug the pod in, if it isn't currently.  Leaving the battery discharged isn't good for it.
