So we very rarely use our TV but last weekend we ended up in a park that didn't allow a camp fire which is our nightly entertainment. So we decided we would watch a little TV but the TV doesn't work anymore. The blue power light is on but there is no sound, not even static and the picture is black.  After trying many things to no avail I gave up and turned it off. Later I noticed the blue power light was back on again. I turned it off but after a while the light comes back on again. I finally unplugged it to keep it from coming on.  I even tried ear buds in the headphone jack, not a sound.  If I turn it on in a low light setting I can see the faintest flicker for just a second when it first comes on the it's just black.  Any ideas?  It was working fine a few weeks ago because I was watching the Olimpics while puttering in the camper.

I'm really new at podding, but when the blue light is on, the television is off. Backwards, I know, but that's how it is in our pod. And it does take a bit for the picture to appear when you do turn it on.

On our TV the blue light is illuminated when the TV is off.  You might try pressing the source button when the light is off to see if that's it.

Well that's backwards but regardless it doesn't work.  I just went out and tried it again.  I had a dim flickering picture for about 3 seconds then black. Still no sound.

Do you have a good source for signal, i.e. antennae or cable?  With over the air (antennae) you must have the boost turned on or the signal will be too weak to pick up.  With Digital TV you either get a good signal (including sound) or you get nothing.  Have you tried pushing the menu botton on the remote to ensure that you are on the right source and that you actually are getting the tv screen to work? Good luck

There is nothing, can't even see what source isn't in because the screen is black.

That does sound like a power issue. Most TVs show something on the screen as they start up when powered on, such as a logo of the manufacturer or something similar.  If you aren't getting anything, then it would seem the TV is not powering on.  12 volt or 110? Make and model?

It is 115 volt and it has power, the blue light is on.

If your are getting nothing at all on the screen even when starting up, I think it might be time to look for a new TV.  Sounds like your screen backlighting may have gone out. Probably not worth fixing, just get a new one.   We recently bought a 12V skyworth with built in DVD after the DVD failed on our NAXA.  Seems to be a good unit.

We just bought the camper in April, I would hope that it would be covered under warranty.
