Hi
Hi we are in the middle of our first big trip with our RPOD 178. We left Vt on Aug 23rd headed to Denver and after visiting kids headed to Mesa Verde, then onto Moab UT for Labor Day week.  We are next headed to Zion for a week and then onto Salt Lake City. We will leave Zion  for SLC Sept 19th and would like to spend a couple nights in Yellowstone.  From there headed to Fargo ND for a night then on to St. Cloud Mn for a week.  After that we will head to Finger lakes region in NY for 3 nights and then back home to Vt. So arriving home on the 9th of Oct.  As I look at average night time temps where we will be they mostly are above freezing, maybe not by a lot.  The possibility of seeing a night or two in the 25 to 28 degree is in there.  Any advice on using the water systems in the RPOD.  Do you think I am in trouble if I hit a night where temps drop to say 25?  Trying to decide if I can get by until I get home?  Any experience or suggestions is always appreciated.

Thanks, Dave

Sounds like a great trip. We usually don't winterize ours until middle of Nov. When we bought our first rpod they told us if we were expecting 2-3 days in a row that were below freezing, it was time to winterize.

Over night drops below freezing generally are no big deal. Since you are using the pod, the temps should stay above freezing inside anyways..

Depending on how you are getting to Zion there may be length restrictions that essentially prohibit trailers on at least one road. I'm not sure, but you'd do well to check.
