Just bought a new 2016 rpod 180 2 weeks ago, really love the rpod great trailer. Except we got home to wash it and noticed water pooling on the roof near the antenna. Does anyone else have this problem with their trailer? The dealer said that all the longer rpods are like this. Also the frame on the rpod is extremely rusty. Any input would be greatly appreciated. uploads/5877/IMG_0072.JPG - uploads/5877/IMG_0072.JPG

Our Vibe does the same thing I haven't thought of anyway to prevent it except raise or lower the front of the trailer.

Don't like the looks of all that water, our 177 doesn't have that problem. I have been on top enough times when I wash the roof, no pooling. Although David and Danette offer a great solution, I would go back to the dealer where you purchased your 180 and see if the other 179 and 180's actually have that problem. Shouldn't be a problem for the dealer to take a water hose and shoot some water on the roof to prove his point. Have him try it on a few units, I don't think it should pool at all, he needs to fix the problem or give you another one from off his lot that doesn't pool water on the roof. Just my 1 cent thought.

Welcome. That pooling isn't optimal, but it doesn't look to be enough to worry about. One solution would be to have the dealer add some self-leveling caulk to fill in the low spot.

Thanks for the input. The dealer is checking the other 180s. I will let you know the outcome.

Does the 180 have a one piece fiberglass roof like the smaller r-pods? Our Vibe has a fiberglass roof but has a seam where the molded fiberglass front cap meets up with the fiberglass roof. That seam is about 3/4" high and creates a dam not allowing the water to flow off the front. I would tilt your trailer until you find out if there is a way to fix the problem.

Please post the outcome from the dealer. I'm picking up my 180 next week. Will have them put a little water on the top to see if it's pooling. Thanks for posting.

It is great that the dealer took care of you. Here's hoping you have no more problems.
