Hello, I'm replacing my tail light, and the caulk on the satellite port. When I pull them off, they had been affixed with some kind of white pliable putty. Not the caulk, but what it is stuck on the fiberglass with before being screwed on. Any idea what they used? I'd like to put it back together the same way. Thanks

Its probably Butyl putty (glazing tape). You may be able to find some at Home Depot.
