Has anyone installed a Dometic Slide Topper on their R-Pod? I have the Pahaque one and I'm not impressed. Two of the bungees broke on first use and it's kind of a pain to put up.

If it'll work, I'm trying to figure out what length I need. I have a 179 and the frame around the slide is 109" long. Dometic makes them in 108" and 114" sizes; 108" would be enough to cover the surface that's likely to get debris on it but would leave 1/2" of frame exposed on each side.

Interested in this.

Seems like the 114" would do nicely. Only hanging off 2.5" on each side.

I ordered a Carefree Slide Cover and black brackets. The newer R-Pods have a distinct flange that I hope will make the cover easier to mount than in that thread. I'll post pics when I install it.

You should try giving them a call. They've always been super helpful for me. I got one of their slide covers and I love it. I didn't want to drill or install stuff on my trailer. Plus those permanent ones cost $400 and you can't get underneath it to clean the top of the slide wall without completely removing the whole thing. The Pahaque one has sides to keep stuff from blowing in, too.
