Hi. We are new to the Podding world and are starting to learn the ropes of our new 182G.

I'm looking at installing the hanging wire baskets on the sliding wall system, but am having too much trouble figuring it out.

The baskets slide easily into the track, but then the hole in the top of the bracket where I suppose I need to screw into the wall becomes hidden by the track. The mounting screws included are too short to install in the lower holes and only a few of the baskets even have them?

Can anyone kindly explain how you installed the baskets securely? Did you have to use different hardware? I looked on the Suncast site and found nothing.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks.

Tyler

That's what I thought, but the track board has a sticker that states to "fasten storage units securely using hardware provided before driving".

The screws they provided are about 1/2" in length and don't appear to be correct for the installation and that's why I'm confused. Plus, if you loaded down a storage bin and didn't fasten it somehow, they would likely have a lot of side to side movement.

Seems like they need to be permanently mounted with some fastener, but not sure what.

Anyone else use this system care to chime in?

Thanks.

I've had a garage for years, no mounting of the baskets necessary, they "clip" or "snap" into the track and stay put really well.

Ok, thanks for the responses. I suppose we'll just put them up and see what happens!

The weight in the basket keeps them locked in fine.... Only part of the garage I have ever had an issue with is the door latches....
