I smashed my table into the wall putting a nice hole in the interior. Does anyone know of a patch technique? The surface paint seems mottled and hard to match.

You don't say how big the hole is, but...I would probably back fill it if needed and then fill and shape with bondo. That will give you structure. You can shape the Bondo or layer it to make it as smooth as possible. You can try to match the texture and paint scheme. Another option is to cover it with something creative. Good luck!

Thanks for your response. I plan to Bondo for strength, then cover the whole width of the camper there with Wood to match the rest of the trim. Should work. I know I can't match the paint.
As a serious woodturner, we have an expression that a mistake just offers a design opportunity. Your reply suggests you know that. Thanks again.
