Hi,
From all we have found on the forum about mods, I am presuming it is okay to screw into the walls? Could I get some advice about this?
Thanks!

Be sure that anything you screw into the walls is less than the thickness of the wall (ask me how I know this). Keeping any fastener to less than an inch would be good.

If you need to use hollow wall anchors, try these:

They worked really well when my wife installed shelves in the pantry of our 179. The wall paneling isn't thick enough for a regular press-in anchor.
