Hi, new member here. I'm about to purchase a R-Pod 182G. Could anyone tell me if $16,995 is a good deal for a brand-new-but-2015 model?
Also, are the any must-have options, enhancements or upgrades I should get as part of the purchase?
Thanks,
Steve

Welcome to the group! It sounds like a good price if it is a new off the lot pod. We really like our r-dome and use the micro-wave/confection oven a lot. We bought our loaded so I am not quite sure what your dealer is listing as options.

Our brand new 2017 RP-180 was slightly less than that for comparison purposes.

You can get a price quote from Couch's RV Nation in Ohio and a price for delivery. That will give you a good basis of comparison. Then you'll have to factor in the potential minuses of not having a 'friendly' dealer for service. We went the Couch route when our local dealer didn't impress us and the purchase worked out fine. We found good service from another Forest River Dealer. If nothing else, you can use the Couch price as a bargaining tool. They work on high volume and low overhead so their prices are quite low. And if you're up for a road trip to Ohio, they'll give you a decent walk through as well.
