Just don't hit the edge of the rim, could cause a leak. About half way between the center and the edge.

Ive tried everything except loosening lugs a bit going backwards slam on brakes then forward with the same thing. thought easy job and was until last wheel. if i cant brake it loose, will driving around with 3 new brakes and one not, is that an issue. I was planning on getting tires rotated anyway, so let them brake it loose. my tire shop is not open today, and i need to drive this thing. thoughts?

Using a 2x4 to protect the rim, hit it from behind with a BFH, rotate, hit again, repeat. ------------- |

tried it furpod; maybe im not hitting it hard enough (i have smacked it pretty hard though!!); scared to do damage; its the rear passenger so cant rotate!!!!!

Might not be hitting it hard enough. I have seen my mechanic do it and you really need to give it a good shot.

mission complete. loosened lugs a bit, backed up about 1 foot, hit brakes and whammy!!!! thanks for everyones input. hogone
