We had a recent trip to Mendocino and stayed at Casper beach RV park. It's really a crowed park so my first reaction was oh my way to close. But backed the trailer in the space just like I knew what I was doing. (It is only our 2nd trip) settled in and it was really just a fine place.  Beach right across the street and camp hosts and campers all very friendly.

So we had full hook ups including cable. So thought I try that out.  We've discontinued cable at home because we don't watch it enough and streaming seems better for us.  Anyway I couldn't get it to work. Kept getting no signal. Manual says set mode to av but just got no signal message. Neighbor camper was getting cable but another plodder in the park was not. He said he thought there was some trick that he couldn't remember to get it to work.
Could have been coincidence and the cable just wasn't working but thought I would check for any feedback here. Can't test at home which makes it hard to troubleshoot.

Did you turn off the antenna booster? It's the little button on the plate where the cable jack for the TV comes out of the inside wall.

I think you also have to do a channel search using "cable" instead of "air or antenna" on the setup menu of the TV.  I'm not so sure about setting input to AV, cause with antenna booster on you get TV over the air.  With the antenna booster off you get a cable signal.

I've never tried using cable myself, but just thinking logically.

Yes, you do have to change from "Air" to "Cable" on the TV menus before doing a channel scan.

When I first looked at my 178, the cable was not correctly attached to the out port, I had to reattach the cable to the port at connection point in RV.  The crimp was bad.

Thanks all. Yes turned off the red button and all the above. Just followed the instruction manual as far as setting mode to AV. But can't test now. Guess I need to go camping. Soon!!!'
