my Rpod 178 has a slide in the kitchen area. Is there and way to extend the slide without power? I was hoping for a manual crank. Suggestions?

There is, you never want to do it. Depending on year, it's either a pain in the ass, or a PAIN in the ass.

The Lippert slides are opened/closed in an emergency by a lug on the drive under the cabinets. The Schwintek slides are opened and closed by removing/disconnecting the motors, then pushing the slide in or out. If your slide out has tracks on the outside walls, you have Schwintek.

Not sure what you mean by without power. The slide works on 12 volts, so you don't need hookups and even if your pod battery is dead you can run jumper cables from your TV to the pod battery and power it that way.
