My R-Pod is basically brand new. It is a 2017 R-179. Loving it so far! Something that has come up however was that the Jensen DVD player stopped working after working for 2.5 movies. I was able to watch one whole movie then a few weeks later, I started a new movie and only watched half before I stopped the movie. I was going to continue watching it later that night but now everyyime I insert a dvd it says "loading" then after a few seconds it switches to Bluetooth.
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before and if they found the cause or fix before I contact Jensen for warranty. I read in another RV forum it is probably not worth contacting them and just to buy a $30 player. Any advice? The black flies were horrible in northern Michigan last weekend and it would've been nice to watch a movie waiting for it to cool off. Thank you in advance!!

I'm afraid that Jensen, (originally "Jin-Sen") is Japanese for "junk". The best way to correct any Jensen malfunction is removal and disposal. Just my opinion, of course...

Ditto. Within a few days of getting the pod, I replaced the two horrid sounding interior speakers with JBL's. I'm going to avoid trashing Jensen, but there is a reason you never see them in cars any more. ------------- |
