1. Change entrance step to 2-steps.
2. Installed a window in the door.
3. Installed a "pull-out" shelf in the coroner cabinet, under the cook top.
4. Installed a T-paper holder up and under the bathroom sink.
5. Moved the 3 pouch holder, in the bathroom, up 6", so it will stay UP, when being used.
6. Removed the hanging rod in the closet and added 6 shelves, to store 6 tubs.
7. Added a shelf over the bedroom bed, to hold "C-Paps"
8. Replaced the couches with a 7" thick futon mattress.
9. Attached Velcro to the shower curtain and to the wall. To help keep curtain closed.

Do you recall where you got the two steps?

I called my dealer, where I purchased the R-Pod. He sold it to me at cost, $86.00
The spets were 1/2 narrower the the original. Nothing a couple washers could not make up for.
P.S. I am in Meadville, PA

What size nails or screws did you use and what type of board for the shelves you put in the closet?

I wondered the same thing! I kept picturing one of those long body drawers at the morgue. I guess the 179 has a LOT more room then the 177!

As for steps, I installed these from eTrailer. I just had to enlarge the back screw holes a bit. Otherwise a perfect fit.

I made 3/4 x 3/4 x 10 square rods to hold up the sides of the metal shelves. The shelf was made, using "Closest Maid" wire shelves. I measured the tubs, that I planed to use for height. Added an extra 1/4" or so, to have 6 tubs. As for the screws I used 1" drywall screw with glue on the wall side.

I would love to see the pull-out shelf for the cabinet under the stove. I love the 2 steps also, I will have to check into that. We are also looking at putting in the window in the door. Did you install it or have someone install it for you? Great mods.

The person I purchased the window, for the door, was Frank Bear 517-741-5000. The window, frame, S&H was around $130.00. It is a good DIY project.

I have tried a few times to add photos to this, but I receive a message, the photos are too " large" to enter. I will keep trying.

Use a photo editing program (The open-source GIMP is cross-platform and runs on Linux, OS X, and Windows) to resize the photo to 640x480. Save it and export it as a .png file. It then should be under 500 KB. I am pretty sure other photo editing programs are also capable of scaling the image to a size that is small enough to upload. I just happen to use Linux, so the GIMP is an obvious choice for me.

The GIMP menu items are Image/Scale Image.

I have a 179 also and like the mods you have done.

I also use a cpap and would like to see pictures of all the Mods.

I was looking at instead of a window in the door installing a Large Peep hole in the door.

Like this one, but in Black

I thought about a peep hole, but we still would have wanted the window. It is nice to have the window that can be opened a bit for ventilation without having the whole door open. It also brings in more light in that corner for the pantry.
