Thanks again to everyone on here that answer all my newbie question.  Before I leave tonight on my maiden voyage I have one last question.  Water Pressure regulators when to use them?  Do I need to use it to fill up the water tank with fresh water?  And do I need to use one on the black tank spray valve when cleaning out the the black tank?

Like I said before the people at the RV dealer are so no helpful.  Pretty much every answer I get from them is "trial and error"

  Thanks again for the answers.

I always use a pressure regulator and water filter when I am connected to city water. I do not use it any other time.

Yep, only when hooked to the city water inlet. We go regulator, wye, hose, filter, 90 degree elbow into city water connection.

For filling the holding tank, not needed. We don't have a BT flush, but I wouldn't use it there. Also, you don't want to use your FW hose for ANYTHING sewer.

Awesome, thanks for the answer.
Fill up tank and rinsing black tank - no regulator
Hook to city water - regulator
And thanks for tip on hoses, already got my white hose for fresh and an old green hose for black.
