I went crosswise, Used a piece of angle for a "bracket on one side, just into the bottom of the frame on the other.

Or, you could do like I did with my 60" and mount it to the frame in the rear. I used 1/8" thick mending plates and bolts all the way through the 1.5" square piece of frame tubing back there. Whatever you have attached to the hitch receiver (spare tire, bike rack, etc.) acts as a central support.

My worry with that is it that hangs pretty low, Pods scrape their rear stabilizers pretty regularly..

It's well above the stabilizers. The spare tire carrier hitch bar goes under it. It almost looks like a bumper.

thebum:  it just got light enough to take a peak.  just to clarify; did you attach the mending plates to the frame tubing then attach the sewer hose tube to the mending plates? did you center it and if so there is enough room to open the ends of the hose tube to access the hose?  hope that all makes sense!!  hogone
