Does the antenna on the 180 go up/down or is it fixed in its current location?

If it is like the one on the 179, it is fixed.

All pods come with the non adjustable omni-directional antennas. A couple owners have swapped out a King Jack.. I need the headroom, an don't watch much TV, so..
