Dometic 3311111.000 HP Air Filter Shell
Can anyone tell me what this filter is for and/or where/how it is installed?
None of the Dometic instruction manuals that I have refer to this filter. I tried going to Dometic’s web site, still no luck. When Googling, I found them for sale for around $20 each, so I don’t want to throw them out. ------------- 2014 R-Pod 178 aka the "Kobra Pod" following a 2015 4Runner wherever it may wander |

It goes in the a/c unit. There is a left, and a right. As you look at the front of the a/c unit, you will see two slots, one on each side of the front vent, that they slide into. You will note the filter has a "grip point" that lines up with the finger recess on the a/c shroud.
