Has anyone replaced the upper out side seal on the slide? Mine has a split. Just wondering what to look out for.

They need to be maintained with some silicone every now and then.. the book says 90 days, we do once a year, no issue yet. On the top, the seal can take a lot of abuse from weather, UV, and stuff/debris on top the slide. Should be no issue to get a piece at the/a dealer to replace. As I remember, it just slide in and out of a groove..

Rather than just silicone, the proper product should be a rubber seal conditioner such as Thetford 32778, Camco 41135, or or Protect All Slide Out Rubber Seal Treatment. These usually contain UV inhibitors in addition to the lubricant.
