The two handles that close and lock down the door to the pop-out tent on the back of our '10 172T have been getting progressively looser. These could be the same closure handles for the garage door on the G models. Every time I tighten them back up, I have to crank down on the nut on the inside a bit harder each time to the point it's starting to damage the fiberglass door itself. Anyone with similar issues and a workaround/fix?

Is there a missing lock washer or something like that?

Not that I can tell. My thought is just to put some locktite on the threads and be done with it. Mostly curious if others are experiencing similar issues.

I had to replace one of my garage handles after several years of it doing the same.
