We have a model year 2008 RP151. The table has two diagonal braces that keep the support legs from collapsing. The braces fold in the middle with a slight offset to the hinge point so they stay in place when extended. There is, however, no locking mechanism on the braces and if they are bumped slightly, e.g. by a knee, and the center hinge point is displaced by less than a quarter inch the brace folds and the leg collapses. This is easily done, especially by a tall person. Our two-year old granddaughter was burned by a scalding cup of coffee when the table leg folded due to an inadvertently displaced brace. Has anyone else had this problem and if so have you come across an easy fix?

Welcome to the group! Sorry to hear about your grand daughter. The new tables are a lot better and do lock into place.

I removed the scissor style table legs and replaced it with the sequoia table leg system. It's a single post that stows easily in the bench and frees up all of the space underneath the table for storage. Cannot accidentally collapse. One of my favorite mods.

We found the original table too wobbly and not stable . We built a new table from cabinet grade plywood and made our own leg system. The table folds flat for travel. we made the table slightly larger than stock since we didn't use it as a bed surface and it doesn't have to fit into a specific space. there are pictures of the table on our mod page. It is very stable and a great upfit for us.

You live in Idaho, I live in Idaho.  I have a table from our 179 that I promptly retired to the barn and made a single pedestal table.  I would be willing to part with the table as it is just sitting in the greenhouse now.
