Forest River is having a sale on all sizes of R-Pod covers. The price is $150 plus applicable tax and shipping for your state. I saw this on Facebook. The covers are the Polypro 3 covers with a 3 year warranty.

To order, contact the Forest River parts department at (574) 642-3119, Ext. 209 or 217.

The offer will expire April 19, 2016.

I just ordered one for our R-Pod 179. The hail storm we had a week and a half ago which dinged up our TV Ouch reinforced the desire I had to get a cover to protect our R-Pod while we are not using it.

Thanks for the heads-up!

What's the original price (MSRP) of the cover usually?

Is it difficult to put on and take off?

I don't know the original price. The lady I spoke with did not have that, but said they are usually over $300.

As for ease of putting on and taking off, I do not have it so I do not have any experience. I'll find out when it arrives.

I should have looked on Amazon though. The same cover is on sale there for $147.88 on Prime. By ordering it there, it should be here in two days. List price on Amazon is $270.00. I just cancelled the order through Forest River and am ordering through Amazon.

there are a couple of you tube videos about  putting the cover on.  When we put our cover on, we do the following:
1-lay the cover flat on the ground in front of the pod. arrange it with the outside laying down and the inside facing up. the front of the cover is against the a frame and the rear of the cover faces away from the pod.
2-we use 2 brooms and work from each side of the cover. each one of us puts their broom in the rear end of the cover about where the tailights will be.
3-we slowly raise the cover off the ground and walk along the side of the pod toward the rear of the pod while hoisting the cover up and over the pod
4-usually we can get as far as the antenna or AC unit before the cover snags and stops
5 we use the broom to manuever the cover around the antenna and  ac unit
6-pull the cover down the back and fasten it. Our cover is from Northern Tools and is the Classic Accessories brand. It has 2 straps that go under the pod and zippers at each corner.

It gets easier after you have done it once or twice. The key is laying the cover out flat on the ground and upside down.

Better than posting a part number, here is the link to the product.
