I noticed that the MSRP/invoice on my 183G says that the exterior package comes with a carrier and cover for the spare. When I picked it up last week they said nothing about a cover or carrier for the spare: it's just bolted in the pass-through storage.
I'd assume the carrier would be hitch mounted. Should I expect the dealer to send me these two things?

Nope. The G models don't have it because it would be in the way when you used the garage..Your "carrier" is that weird bolt thingy in the floor of the storage compartment. Many G owners have moved the spare to the tongue or tv to clear up storage space.. ------------- |

Let me back up a bit. Whatever is listed on the factory invoice is what FR says they installed.
