Why, oh why, is the antenna on the 2015 178 HRE stationary? It's very frustrating to not get any TV in some campgrounds. I had a Pleasure Way before my Pod with an old-fashion rotatable antenna that worked! Don't want the PW but sure would like the antenna!

Ft. Myers FL owner of new (to me) RPOD. Love (most of) it -- so far!

The antenna on the Pod is omnidirectional. Omnidirectional means equally poor in all directions.

Mine does too!  Gotta make sure you turn on the antenna button to boost the signal.  Otherwise reception is poor.  You also have to go to your TV menu and do a channel search each time you set up camp.

We have used ours at several campgrounds and had gotten roughly 30-35 channels

Thanks all...

I did get 35 channels at one campsite but at another I got almost none and those worked only sporadically. Frankly, I watch only to get to sleep. Kind of like white noise! BoringSleepy So, back to the PW -- I could rotate the antenna at every campsite and get reception.

That's all folks and thanks again. Oh, love the first comment!

One thing, pod vs your other camper, the pod antenna is mounted and operates at a lower height. It matters. Digital TV signals are LOS.. so a slightly taller rig between you and the origin point that your old TT could "see" over, the pod can't. Same with any other obstacle.

So far, when I have bad DTV reception so does everybody else.

I never had a problem with the tv in my 2015 Rpod 178.  Use the booster switch and do a channel scan.
