New to this forum so please forgive this posting if it belongs somewhere else! But, does anyone use CoachNet? If so, is it worth the expense? Other suggestions?

Thank you very much!

Welcome to the group! We us coachnet. We find that it is worth it for the peace of mind when on the road.

Does anyone have any experience in how long it takes for Coachnet to respond to a road service.  Is it hours?  And if I can't tow the trailer, how do they tow?

I've looked at the plan, and can't determine if it covers only the trailer or the trailer and tow vehicle.

We don't use Coach Net but use Good Sam Emergency. As for response time it depends on where you are and how busy they are and what day of the week it is and what time of day.

That said the longest I have had to wait is about 1 hour. The shortest is about 30 minutes. You want to be sure that they will tow you to the nearest place that can fix your rig. As far a changing a flat tire no big deal.

I also have AAA and last year had a problem with the car called AAA and was told because I was towing something they would not even come out. I understand AAA has an upgraded policy though.

I called Good Sam and they were there in about two hours. The reason it took so long was that their nearest tow dealer was 80 miles away.   I wanted to be towed to the nearest Chrysler dealer and was told that the nearest shop that could work on my PT Cruiser was closed on Sunday but that they would tow me to a campground and they the next day they would try to find a shop that could do the work. I said no just tow me to the nearest Chrysler dealer. I was told that there would be an additional charge that I would have to pay. I think it was $50. No big deal.

We got our R-Pod 179 in December. We received a year of Coach Net courtesy of Forest River (basic). I was also curious about this topic. Thanks for the replies.

OnTheRoad6: Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your R-Pod purchase.
