Hello,
We are currently considering purchasing an R-pod 178 standard edition. We previously owned a 179 Hood River Edition. Now, that the standard edition comes with the aftermarket lift, we can get the clearance we need/want with the standard edition and save a lot of money. I'm wondering if anyone has tried putting tougher and/or larger tires (15" vs. the 14" tires the standard edition comes with) on the standard edition and if there is enough clearance with the fenders.
Both of the R-pod dealers we spoke to that sell the standard edition said that they thought it would work but didn't seem to have any first hand experience.
We'd appreciate any input from experienced podders.
Thank you so much!
Lisa

Just for clarity, if you are asking about installing 15" wheels and tires on a RP-178 equipped with risers, then yes...several owners have installed 15" wheels and tires without issue.

Yes, thanks! That's exactly what I was asking, thanks again for the input!
