We are new owners of a 2016 - 179. Read a post about needing a ladder to clean off top of slide out before breaking camp. (leaves, debris removal). I have been looking for an awning or canopy to attach to either the slide out or R-pod roof that will pull out when slide out is extending, and retract when slide out is being closed. I have noticed a track above what looks like a small small 'gutter' to shed water off to side of slide out. Is there such an item?
Thanks, ccamp Smile

Here's one found by Appocalexx for a 179:

There are many posts on this subject. Do an advanced search on this forum for  "slide awnings", "any time". I got 100 hits.

Welcome.  If you decide to go with a ladder, I bought one of these so I could clear my slide-out, love it.

I think I paid around $65, but I haven't seen them much below $100 since.
