We use them a lot for scouting deer/bear/moose etc. I suggest when you use it. chain it to the tree, cause some undesirables collect them.
They are really a blast, get some great shots!!

I have one and often set it up when camping in places like Yellowstone and Grand Teton. I also leave it setup in the backyard when I'm home.

Leo B is correct keep it secure to a tree or other post.
This is what I use it is available at Amazon for $10.48:

Master Lock 8417D Python Adjustable Locking Cable, 6-Foot

I have a friend who suspected his wife was cheating on him while he was away from home.  So hid  his game camera (it's an infrared motion sensor) on his living room book case and got photos of her and the other guy.  After the divorce he used it to scout out the deer population, and he said it came in handy for that too!  Good advice to buy a lock for it.  Most brands sell their own locking system.  If you are out in the wilds you can still view your daily photos if you have a regular digital camera that fits the memory card for your wildlife cam.  Lithium batteries last a lot longer for the cam than do alkaline.  Careful where you point that thing.
