Yet ANOTHER question for the forum.  This forum has spiked our learning curve- by far more educational than reading the manuals or talking to individuals.  Just post your question and have a little patience and KAZAAM! You have very informed answers and the problem or mystery is solved.
Here's our latest question:  On our Rdome we have had it thru a lot of rainy days now and finally we're getting some sunshine. So after airing it out we want to roll up all three sides to make an awning- a simple roof over the door. The two sides that connect to the Rpod roll up easy with ties- but the side parallel to the Rpod has no ties for the wall.  Was wondering what the best way to remove it? Roll down from top or completely remove by unzipping? Or something else??

Our R dome has the same issue with the ties missing on the wall parallel to the Pod.  Laura has planned to sew ties to the window seams, but hasn't gotten around to it yet-this winter it will happen. In the meantime, we just totally unzip the entire front and use just the sides.  then we can roll up the side screen covers or leave them down for shade.  It works great.  we made 2 feet for our poles and stake them .  we used 12" of galvanized 1/2"electrical conduit for each piece. we tied them together with parachute cord to keep the spacing of the poles correct.

PodPeople-
Thank you so much for the advice.  We want to try it every possible way to see which we like best.  You have some good ideas- we have a strap that runs between the two poles- but the staked bent conduit is a good idea- esp in bad storms.  RoadToad

We keep a dozen http://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-2-in-Spring-Clamp-80002/100027346 - spring clamps in the camper for various jobs, two of them did the job for the dome.
