The Canvas Campers forum does a big blowout every spring at French Creek. Lots of families, so generally calm and G-rated, and pets are allowed in the whole C loop now. They have a potluck Saturday night. I got to know some of their group from the annual winter campout, they started coming the same weekend the year after we started. Last year my family attended this March campout and had a great time. We'll be going again this year and will be in site 12. I'm making pretty good progress. I need to do some other things tonight but the only major thing I need to do is put up a sort of shower enclosure plastic on the walls and install the toilet. I can put the vinyl floor in later and I am thinking about putting a little storage door under the tub for the toilet chemicals and a roll of TP.
