You read my mind.  I meant to hop on to the Canvas forum last week to firm up the date.

I've chimed in over there.

Edit:  I've tweaked the thread title a bit so it is like the prior year's threads.  I have booked for the March campout but not this one yet.

Exactly, I don't want to book and then get 3 feet of snow.  No worries about getting a spot.

Sorry I'm late to the game over here. I'm in and like others, I won't book until that week. I upgraded to a 27 foot TT with Bunks. Doug's TT last year inspired me. I wish I had the slide he does but I'm happy.

Hey Matt!  No slide means less air to warm up next week, a bonus.

I'm still in.  Placed my order for a large Mr. Buddy heater yesterday.

That is a plus to NOT having a slide.....but for the one crazy winter trip a year I take I'll bring an extra heater :)

My wife and I have made this Fiesta Chicken a few times. I'm thinking of making it on this trip.

Any other podders (is that the correct term) going to join us at French Creek?

Watch out with that Mr. Buddy...unless you like sweat lodges!! Wink

Mine kicks butt. Love it in the dome but it's almost too much in the pod. Sure glad I got it though. Right now I got it out in my garage keeping a 30x16x9 cbs space @ 60+ when it's 32 outside. 20 lb tank hooked up to it. I got work to do. Love it!

Wish I could join you guys.

Podders is correct.  We need someone to represent, I don't think there were any pods the last 2 years.

Fred, in the garage will be one of its many uses.  Need to start attacking my kitchen remodel starting next fall.  Got the 10 foot hose for that very reason.  Primary use will be keeping my wife warm around the campfire when it is cool.  Yes, she is always cold even around the campfire.

You got thermostat wars at your house/rv too? I thought it was just me. Confused

Let's keep an eye on the 10 day, I'm not a fan of ice.

Ah, things have changed slightly since I checked the weather last week.  At least the freezing rain is for Saturday.

Had a great time!  Had to cut short the Friday night campfire due to rain, but we spent all day Saturday hanging out around the fire.  Even had to get a little extra wood when the pickup bed (that was full) got a little low.  Occupied 4 sites, with a pup, two large TTs and one hybrid.  People filtered in and out on Saturday and a few people shared a camper.  It was relatively warm all weekend unlike most winter campouts but I did run into snow on the way home.

Next up, the March Canvas Campers "opener" at French Creek.  They always have 40-50-60 people with a ton of fun.
